Controls and functions: The turrets are solid but have a light to medium feel to them. not spongy but not crazy solid. knob size is good and feels right to the hand. zero stop is solid as a rock. single center hold down screw is nice. the finish on the scope is clean and even. nice matte anodize.
Mag ring and parallax knob: Are smooth but very stiff. a little too stiff for my liking. the parallax goes down to 25yd which is incredible on this mag range of optics. appears to be parallax free at that distance as well.
the diopter is smooth as silk with no lock ring.
Illumination: Is probably some of if not the best I've seen in a scope. very clean. Dim enough for nvgs and way bright enough for solid daylight.
Weight and feel: Are hefty and solid. nothing about the scope feels weak or soft.
Glass: Looks very good in the normal use range between 10-20x. I have no need or desire to use one much above 22-24x if that. the glass is very clean and sharp. not much in the ca dept at all.
Reticle: damn good looking reticle for moa. thickness is excellent. subtensions are spot on and it's clean. even as a tree reticle it feels unobtrusive. well done.
Tracking:looks very good. it's within 1/4moa and never had a compound variance to it. there does appear to be a little bit it cant in the reticle but nothing terrible to the 40moa or so I ran it to in the video.
overall looks to be a fine scope. I really know little about them or the company or even prices so that's on you all to research.

I just got back from the range where I was shooting two rifles side by side, alternating between them every 5 shots. One was topped with a Cronus 4.5x29 MOA reticle, the other a Steiner Military 5x25 with MSR Reticle.
Long story short, the Cronus beats it hands down. Glass is considerably better in terms of clarity, brightness and resolution. Turret clicks are cleaner and crisper. The Cronus is also shorter and lighter. Both track and hold zero equally well as far as I can tell. Both have fairly thick reticles (not ideal for shooting tiny groups), but the Cronus is just a touch finer. Illumination isn't even close. The Cronus clobbers the Steiner. Both have generous eye boxes, but the Cronus seemed just a bit better. Parallax on the Cronus seemed easier to dial in as well. As far as durability goes, time will tell. The Steiner feels like a tank by comparison, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's tougher.
Unfortunately, I paid $1300 more for my Steiner a few years ago then I did for my Cronus just recently. I would now take the Cronus over the Steiner without a second thought even if it was the more expensive optic.
Buy with confidence, gents. The Athlon Cronus is the real deal and will hang with or beat scopes costing almost twice as much.
