The Ares ETR GEN2 UHD 1-10x24 is one of the most versatile scopes that Athlon has ever made – perfectly suited for everything from close-range engagements to mid-range target shooting. The illuminated, first focal plane reticle is a thoughtfully designed BDC style that functions like a red dot at 1X magnification. The illuminated center horseshoe is daylight-bright and extremely fast on target. As magnification increases, the BDC hashes become visible and indicate holds at 100-yard increments from 300 to 700 yards. There are also holdovers for wind at 5 and 10 mph. A built-in ranging tree on the lower vertical post provides quick range estimation on a 36” tall silhouette target. The ATMR3 reticle is designed for 68 and 69-grain BTHP 223 Rem/5.56 mm NATO rounds but is also compatible with many other bullet weights and calibers.

Absolutely love it. Bought to run with an RH25 and they are a perfect match. 1x is crisp with huge FOV. At 10x the eye relief is tight but worth it for the huge magnification range. The thread in scope caps are one of the coolest features I have seen. This is my 6th Athlon and wont be my last. Thanks!!!
