I've only used the monocular on about 10 hunts but so far has been well worth the money. The clarity is good for the price point and the battery life is at least 9 hours (it went 9 hours at 20° then the battery indicator went to red so i switched it) however there are a few small issues I've noticed right away. First and largest problem is the screen on this is way too small. I feel like it could easily be twice the size and if it was would really make a huge improvement while hunting. Second is the green light on the outside top of the monocular that comes on when the unit is on. This green light is so bright when hunting the first dark night it felt like I was holding up a yard light to my head but I quickly fixed it with some electrical tape. The final issue I have is the eye piece comes off too easily when going in and out of chest rig. This problem has also been solved with E tape. I took a chance with this monocular being that it is a new product and overall so far I am satisfied.
