this is a great scope. clarity is a notch better than my vortex pst. love the ffp reticle and the illumination is bright enough for daytime use. the only drawback to this scope is the lack of adjustment range for ultra long range work. it works well for 1000 yard work if you have a 20 moa rail, but not much more. I have this on a savage 10 BA stealth in 6.5 Creedmoor. I'll be buying the Cronus BTR for my 338 lapua in the near future.

The Helos BTR is a awesome scope. I am a professional predator hunter, and I use this scope to shoot almost every single coyote that I kill. Its ridiculously clear for the price, easily as clear or clearer than a $1000 Vortex scope. I love the locking turrets, and I especially love the illuminated reticle. Its awesome for low light situations that we run into while predator hunting. Basically, for whatever you're hunting, this is the scope you want.

I have a Vortex Viper pst moa ffp that I love and looked at them when i needed to add another scope but the cost stings a little so in my research I found Athlon. After research that included meeting the guys at Athlon and looking at their products in person i chose the Helos BTR moa ffp. The turrets are crisp and right on the mark, this model even provides locking turrets, which was an added benefit over my Vortex. side by side Vortex/Athlon I cannot tell a difference, but at less than half the price of a Vortex with the same warranty, my wallet sure can tell a difference.
i would recommend any of the optics from Athlon and Love my new Helos rifle scope which is now on my new 6.5x47 Remington platform.

Great rifle scope. Sighted in at 100 on a 30-06, plan on getting to the 1000 yard mark in a few days. If you're looking for a nice scope that's not to harsh on the pockets give athlon a try.

Excellent rifle scope. You can't find another FFP scope with this many features at this price. I have only taken mine out to 100 yards because I was waiting on my chronograph. It's very clear and the reticle illumination works perfectly. I have the scope mounted on my Howa APC in 6.5 CM, Vortex rings, and Talley 20 MOA rail. Looking forward to reaching out to 300 this weekend. Unfortunately, there are no long distance ranges close to San Antonio. I'll have to drive to Austin to stretch it out to 500+ yards. Great job Athlon on creating an outstanding product at this price. I paid $570 on Amazon and mine came with a sunshade.

My wife just got me this scope and it is a work of art! Crystal clear, sharp reticle, great turrets! Can’t wait to get it on the range!

Bought this for a Ruger precision rifle in 300prc, trying to stay on a budget. I have not done anything except mount it, but I have to say it is a pretty nice piece of glass. Especially since I scored it for $300 on a black Friday deal at midway. Now I'm waiting on dies, and off to the range. More to follow...
