ATHLON OPTICS PRO TEAM | MAIN FOCUS:ELR (Extreme Long Range) and Precision Rimfire
Growing up, my father would put me on his back, carry me into duck slews and set me on a beaver hut. I watched him wack ducks with his model 12 shotgun, that I still have today. He always had me in tow when he went deer hunting along with some of Momma’s homemade chocolate chip cookies. How could a kid not love that!

About Me:
I grew up in a ranching family, raising cattle, duck hunting, quail hunting, and deer hunting. I lost my dad when I was just 7 years old. When he died I also lost the ranch, our cattle, and my whole world. The only things that got me through as a young man was having a gun in the woods, and the fond memories of me and my father trying to outsmart a big buck. Still today I believe guns, God, prayer, nature, and America all go hand in hand!
Today, I still live on a little ranch and raise Brangus cattle, ranch horses, and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and yes I am still an avid hunter. I shoot Extreme Long Range (ELR) competitions all over the country. In addition to this I am the pastor of Circle J Cowboy Church and oversee 3:16 ELR, and the ELR 22 Association.
My goals in life are to make a difference in people’s lives in whatever I do. I love Athlon products because they are the best you can get for the money. I do not use the Athlon Cronus Gen 2 on all of my rifles because I am sponsored by Athlon, I use them because I have compared them to most of the high end scopes in the industry, and for my eyes they are simply the best! I push the limits, and test these scopes out to over 5,000 yards. My longest 1st round impact in competition is 3,370 yards in a 50 mph wind at Spearpoint in Lincoln, KS. I shoot in ELR Heavy and Light divisions, and ELR 22 competitions. Remember to keep God first, stand for integrity, do what is right because it is the right thing to do, push the limits, and you will always go farther than everyone else.
