I have been an avid hunter for 30 years. After white-tail hunting with a rifle for 16 years, I became bored with rifle shooting and started archery hunting. My love for rifle shooting leads me into predator hunting at further ranges. I became very comfortable at shoot 700+ yards and decided in 2018 it was time to start competing.
One of my many memorable moments was during a coyote hunt. We were struggling to get this coyote into range to make a good shot. After studying the wind and environment conditions, I decided to take a farther shot than usual. I ranged this coyote at 597 yards. Knowing that this was a difficult shot at making, I had to rely on my equipment and knowledge of long-range shooting to make a perfect shot. Once I lined up and took the shot, I made a perfect heart shot.
