The Midas TAC line has been a go-to recommendation for Athlon since it was first introduced and now it's here for a new generation. Striking the perfect balance between price and performance is what Athlon is all about and this riflescope is a great example of how we’ve managed to do that. The Midas TAC GEN2 UHD 5-30X56 offers a versatile magnification range and an array of features that are difficult to come by at this price point. Highlights include a First Focal Plane Illuminated Reticle, specially coated UHD Glass, a Precision Zero Stop, and parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity. The Argon Purged Midas TAC GEN2 is Waterproof, Fog Proof, and Shockproof and is backed by Athlon’s Lifetime Warranty — just in case.

Mounted this scope last Saturday on a Ruger Precision .22 Magnum, and finally took it out last night to try it out. This is the first "decent" scope I've ever owned, so I can't compare it to very high dollar scopes, but for me, shooting targets @ 100 yds., it was awesome. The glass is extremely clear and the FFP reticle is great. After getting it zeroed, I was able to shoot a 1" group @ 100 yds. It was very bright out when I was shooting, so I didn't have a need to turn the I.R. on while shooting, but just from testing it on the bench, it was very visible. I'm no expert, but I would highly recommend it.
