Outstanding glass for the money. I already own the Ares ETR, Helos, and Talos. I put the Argos on my Howa HCR .308 with the 26" barrel. The tracking is dead-on and my 3-shot groups have all bullets touch. Now, I can't justify buying a more expensive scope because for $400 you get a solid scope, illumination, and a zero stop. No other dependable vendors come close. Thanks again Athlon!!!

I purchased this rifle scope to put onto a .300 Win Mag Bergara (B-14) HMR left hand version. This rifle scope is so well made it is unbelievable. I could not believe the quality and craftsmanship that was put into it's manufacture. The scope was bore sighted with a laser and the horizontal alignment was also set and confirmed. After the rifle break in period I placed five .300 win mag rounds touching one another at 100 yards. A first for me. I am now moving up to 300 yards and will continue to 1,000+ yard mark. I could not be happier with this purchase. There is no manufacturer anywhere who is producing a scope at this price point that can even compare to the Athlon Argos. I highly recommend this scope and company and I am a very satisfied customer.

I'm very happy with the purchase of this scope. I just bought a Tikka T3x 6.5 Creedmoor and put this scope on it and had great results from 100 yards out to 400 yards and so far its been dead on. Great scope for the price and would recommend it.

Unbelievable quality! I've owned a lot of optics over the years and I was recently introduced to Athlon via a friend. I visited a gun dealer and couldn't believe how clear and crisp the reticle was and the edge-to-edge clarity. Throw in features that would easily cost you close to a grand (FFP, IR, MOA/MOA reticle/turrets) and I haven't found a competitor that's close. That includes Vortex... I've avoided buying one since they were introduced. But after my first Argos BTR purchase I'm working on outfitting all of my rifles with Athlon, and believe it or not, that means selling a few Nightforce (great scope and retained value but I couldn't afford the features) and Leupold scopes in order to make the switch. I even got their tactical spotting scope and it's incredible. I wish I had one while I was overseas!

I have ordered (2) Argos BTR gen2 and also a gen 1 just in the last year. I love them. The true zero stop is great. Hold zero and very clear glass. Quality is there for sure. Any company that will stand by a product is worth a shot because at the end of the day.....I just dont wanna waste money on an item Im stuck with. So far the quality for the money is great. Searched hard on scopes before ordering this last one, but just couldnt find a better valuen my opinion. I hope Athlon will continue to be a super competitor and offer these quality optics for a good price. I recommend these!

Best scope for the money. Installed on Tikka t3 .300wsm with Warne mounts and its deadly accurate to 750 yards and beyond. Crystal clear glass and vision even on cloudy, foggy days

This is the 2nd Athlon scope I’ve purchased. The first one was for my son and let me tell you this scope is solid. We were so impressed that I purchased one for myself.

I now have several Athlon rifle scopes, 7 I believe. I have them on big Magnum calibers. I have been very pleased with all aspects of these scopes. I think they are a really good bang for the buck. I also have several Leoupold, Vortex, and Nikon scopes to name a few. I will put the Athlon scopes in the same level of them. Recently I mounted a 6x24x50 Argos on a Weatherby 6.5 WBY RPM. After several shots for zero and barrel break in, I spent a couple days in the woods hunting. I took 2 nice bucks with it. The next week while cleaning the gun, I noticed the elevation turret center hold down screw was missing. (Probably my fault for not tightening it properly) I contacted Athlon and ask them to send me a new one. I told them I was willing to pay for the part and shipping. Again this was probably my fault. I just received the new screw with a new o-ring. They just sent It, no cost to me. Another reason to like Athlon, great customer service. If you want to spend more money for some of those other brands, be my guest. I will stick with Athlon for my future optics needs.
