I have owned SWFA, Vortex, and Nikon optics over the course of my hunting and competition career.....and this is hands down the best scope I have ever used for either purpose. The floating dot in the middle makes shooting tight groups significantly easier and the level of tracking you get along with a 34mm tube for under a grand is astounding. I am 100% Athlon for life.
