I purchased the scope for my S&W 15-22PC. Surprisingly good quality for the money. Very happy with it.

Tried the Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x and returned it.
I found this to be a far better scope in just about every aspect. Great glass (superior to the crossfire) for the price and the BDC is dead on for me out to 100 yards.

Put the Neos 4-12x42 on my Ruger Precision Rimfire 22LR and it was bright and clear and the parallax adjusts perfectly. The scope is a great match for this rifle.

I am disappointed with my new Athlon Neos 4-12x 40 BDC Rimfire scope.
When changing zoom from 4x up; at 6x the poi changes 3/4 MOA right & 1/2 MOA down.
When you get to 12x, poi is zero again.
The poi does not change when moving from 12x down.
Obviously a lense is being tilted slightly by the power change mechanism.
Disappointing as I have cheaper scopes tbat do not change poi as the power is changed.
Tracking of the turrets was good and poi returned to zero each time with both elevation & windage adjustments.
Side focus also did not change poi as the knob was turned - although the mechanism was very stiff and did appear to have some slack in the adjustment.
To verify poi on scopes I first mount the scope on the rifle, then remove the stock and grip the rifle action in a vice (with aluminium padding so as not to mark the action).
All testing is then done with the scope focused on a target 10m away.
