I have this scope on my cz 455 in 17 hmr ss rifle.so far it has been doing fine.i have shot it out to 150 yds with no problems.i have also bought two other neos scopes ( 6x18x44 ) to put on other small caliber rifles.it might be two much power, but I will have to try them out and see.i can always put them on larger caliber rifles and get another neos 3x9x40 scope.

I have been using the Neos 3-9x40 Center X for several months on my Ruger 10/22. This is my first experience with Athlon rifle scopes and Neos is their entry-level scope. I'm impressed by the quality and the clarity of the scope. The 40mm optics provides a large field of view. The subtension values on the Center-X model are sufficient for my short-range use (< 150yds). The many features of this bottom-line scope have nearly sealed my preference for Athlon scopes. We'll see how it performs over time.
